Birth without fear is a method for everyone, even if you feel fairly confident. Birth without fear is a coping method, a set of tools to help you and your partner to handle the stress and fear that birth can trigger. 

Birth without fear focuses on how we can support our natural ability to birth. The course offers information on the physiology of birth and teaches you about the factors that prohibit this ability and the factors that activate it. The aim of the course is to make birthing experience as positive as possible for the entire family.

The method consists of four simple tools and teaches the birthing partner how to best support the mother. So the course is aimed for the birthing mother and her support person. Besides the theoretical part, you will practice the tools and the principles of support. By doing them during the course and rehearsing them at home you will integrate the tools and have easier access to them during the birth.

Since Birth without fear really is a method to cope with stress and fear, it is suitable for any kind of birth plan, whether you want a natural birth or all the medication available. You can even benefit from it during a caesarean birth. We help oxytocin, our birth hormone, to release by using the tools and the principles of support. This works on many levels such as attaching to the child, healing and breastfeeding,
